Every now and then I run a few searches at the USPTO just to see what Honda might be up to. A few years ago, it was discovered that they had registered the "Latitude" name with the USPTO. Around the same time, we heard rumors that Honda had begun work on a new crossover/wagon/something, so at the time there seemed to be a potential leak.
The Latitude registration has since expired, but somebody at Jalopnik came across a very recent USPTO (U.S. Patent and Trademark Office) filing for a new name - Crosstour. Could this be the name for the upcoming crossover?
By the way, we had heard some rumors that Honda was considering showing a concept of this vehicle at one of the upcoming auto shows (Chicago and New York), but at the moment it seems that the final decision has yet to be made.
