I think Honda makes a mistake in the way that they equip these cars for review. Most reviewers seem to focus on two major things - price and driving feel / performance. By always including a Navigation system, that makes the car seem like a $2000 worse bargain right from the start. Nevermind the HFP body kit and $2000 18" wheel option. (Though I don't get how the Autoblog review quotes a $25,165 as-tested price, because when I build the same car on Honda.com it's at nearly $29k, and that's without the HFP suspension [the existence of which the Honda site fails to acknowledge]).
Anyway, Honda should keep the cars at bare minimum for the lowest price, but add the summer tires ($200) and HFP suspension ($800) alone for maximum performance. Maybe the sport brake kit, too. ($640). Those three major options are still below the $2k of the Nav while actually making a significant difference in the driving experience.
